THE LATEST - as of - 10-29-09, Upcoming Shows - Bob's Big Boy Halloween Car Show October 31, 2009 and Re-Green Evergreen Cemetery Cruise is November 1, 2009.

As you are well aware the date of this years Re-Green Evergreen Cemetery Cruise is November 1, 2009.  The show is a fund raising effort, and many of those funds are from the sponsorship of trophies.  This year has seen a drop in charitable contributions for trophies.  All who have been to the event state how neat it is - Well, we need your help. We are in desperate need of trophy sponsors.  For only $25 each you can have the experience of picking the car you want to award - And tremendously help the effort.  You don't need to to be a business or even affiliated with hot rods - just do a good thing as an individual - And have fun with it!  Please contact Bill Wasson at 951-351-8150 or Rod  Haynes at 951-966-2664 as soon as possible to help out and be a part of this cool event - Thank you !

A message from Rick G (AKA "The Trophy Hog"):

Guys, As you may know I’ve been having a problem with my truck from day one where it would tend to stall when coming to a stop, more so when the engine was cold and usually in the most inopportune time.

While at Cruisin’ For A Cure I met Bob Radke who has a company (OBD Diagnostics, Inc.) that specializes in diagnostic, performance tuning and repair of computer controlled engines regardless of what they are mounted in. After some conversation we set up meeting for this past Wednesday and after he hooked up his laptop to my ECM, we did some grand touring of Palos Verde’s while Bob did his magic in fine tuning the ECM. After some hill climbing and a couple of WOT blasts and generally just cruising around driving like a normal person, the issues I had were programmed out of the ECM. The engine runs like a champ, no more stalling, pulls strong and most importantly, he has a very happy customer.

With that said, I was wondering if you’d be so kind as to place a link to his site on your web page as his products are superb, his knowledge base is comparable to Mike (customization vs. electronics) and most importantly, he knows what he is doing.

Thanks guys, Rick G.

Another newcomer to the Norco Cruizers is Lalo Onsurez, the owner of ONZ Paint and Bodyworks in Mira Loma. If his ride says anything about his work, this would be an excellent place to go for paint or body work. The shops specialties are expert color matching, pin striping and lettering, exotic colors, custom fabrication, restorations, and collision repairs.

Here is Lalo's address:

ONZ Bodyworks, 6526 Lorena Ave. Mira Loma, CA 91752
